What is your favorite restaurant in Macon, GA?

The Parish! It's a Cajun-style restaurant with many traditional dishes inspired by Cajun culture. Try the shrimp and grits or the pasta special!

What is your favorite memory at Mercer so far?

My favorite memory at Mercer is from Bear Beginnings my freshman year. I really enjoyed meeting so many new people, and some of them are still my best friends! I also got the chance to meet upperclassmen students and faculty members!

Best advice you have for incoming students?

Don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. I've learned that when you are out of your comfort zone, many times you will learn the most about yourself and grow as a person.

I chose Mercer because...

I was looking for somewhere where my abilities didn't make me an outlier. As a high achieving student and leader, I looked very hard during my college search to find somewhere where I was surrounded by people with my same drive. When I visited Mercer, I could tell that students cared about their future. When I came back for the Presidential Scholars Weekend, I knew that I had found my place.
