I chose Mercer because...

Whenever I visited campus, everyone was so nice and welcoming and helped so much! I also saw the amazing opportunities available as a student. Not only could I get an amazing education, but I also could integrate volunteering into my academic experience through Service-Learning and programs like Mercer On Mission. I also could connect with professors more and actually get to know them because of the smaller class sizes. Ultimately, Mercer felt like a second home to me and I felt a part of the student community, which is what mattered the most to me.

What is your favorite memory at Mercer so far?

I have so many great memories! I definitely have enjoyed many on-campus events such as painting, drive-in movies, ziplining, and bubble soccer during Spring Fest!

Best advice you have for incoming students?

Time management is key! Make sure you have a healthy balance between having fun, studying, and taking time for yourself.

What is your favorite restaurant in Macon, GA?

I love Margaritas Mexican Restaurant and Ocmulgee Brewpub!! I also love late-night runs to Cook-Out
