What is your favorite memory at Mercer so far?

For my Documentary Storytelling class, we spent the semester making a full length documentary. We got to film all semester then edit it all into one documentary that we presented as our final project. Mine followed the season of a local high school girl's basketball team. For our final my professor had us over to her backyard and played all our documentaries on a projector screen.

I chose Mercer because of the people. From the first time I stepped on campus, everyone from the school including students, professors, and the admissions employees were genuinely so nice and they all made me feel welcome and at home.

What is your favorite restaurant in Macon, GA?

Ocmulgee Brewpub is a really good place downtown that I like going to with friends. They have lots of different specialty burgers to try but my favorite is the Smokey Appleation.

Best advice you have for incoming students?

College is what you make it. Don't be scared to try new things and meet new people.
