I chose Mercer because...
I chose Mercer because of the sense of family I felt when I stepped on campus. Everyone is genuinely so kind and welcoming -- I felt more at home at Mercer (which is 17 hours away from home) than at any school closer to Massachusetts.
Best advice you have for incoming students?
Try new things and step outside of your comfort zone! I decided to take a Global Development class first semester that was unlike any class I'd taken before, and I enjoyed it so much that Global Development is now one of my majors!
What is your favorite memory at Mercer so far?
Definitely watching the lip sync battle on Cruz Plaza during homecoming week. Everyone got so hyped up, it was a ton of fun!
What is your favorite restaurant in Macon, GA?
The Rookery! Their shakes and veggie burgers are amazing.
